Within the Creative Brief, the team was asked to make a campaign to help Smartfood stand out in an oversaturated market of snack food.
The Insight:
Popcorn is usually tied to the idea of watching movies. We wanted to emphasize Smartfood as a ‘smart’ snack for any occasion and to be seen in the same light as everyday chip/ snacking companies.
The Idea:
Playing off of the idea of ‘smart’, we wanted to tie the concept of smart ideas to Smartfood in a comedic way. We also wanted to use dark backgrounds as a nod to popcorn’s history in theatres.
